Quick Hits: Uptown Edition

It's Tuesday afternoon, time for some Quick Hits.

  • Bad news for Upper West Side sports fans, as neighborhood favorite Blondies has been temporarily closed by the tax man. Oh no! They are hoping to reopen soon, but if you can't wait, the Upper East Side Blondies is still popping. [Eater]
  • While most doorman will still look an outfit up and down to ensure you "have the right look", there aren't too many places with a specific dress code. One that does enforce a dress code is Dorrian's, where a Little Birdy was rejected over the weekend for not wearing a collared shirt. Seriously. [DBTH]

I remember some wealthy lawyer-type telling me to go to Dorrian's because it's "the best and easiest place to pick up girls".
