Bounce Deuce Dunzo

The Death Corner of Second Avenue and Sixth Street has claimed another victim, as fratastic sports bar Bounce Deuce has decided to pack it in and close for good. Following reports earlier last week that the space had mysteriously been closed for a few days, the management was thoughtful enough to post this helpful sign, wishing everyone a good summer. Pat yourself on the back if you guessed that Bounce Deuce would close before Kurve - we aren't too proud to admit that we never saw it coming. Happy July 6th!

Hahahahahahha.... good riddance, biatches!.... I used to live near this corner and the arrival of Bounce symbolized all that was wrong with the East Village... here's to hoping they bring back Jerry's 103

As far as sports bars with flat screen TV's and the like were concerned I thought the space was fine. In this era any place that closes is more likely than not just going to be an unoccupied storefront for the next few months - hardly a good thing.
