Gansevoort St. Cafe Hangs Its Sign

A little news from the West Village. The former Florent space is still undergoing its transformation, and will soon be known as the Gansevoort St Cafe, which is a bit of switch since the Community Board originally approved their liquor license transfer. Owners David Graziano and Corey Lane originally planned to open July 12, but hey, things happen. First the opening date changes, then the name. We wonder if there are any other surprises in store. . . ?

Bonus: After the jump, a grainy shot of the interior construction. Don't tell us that doesn't get you hot on this steamy Friday afternoon.

From the looks of things, August 12 may be a stretch.
