Amateur Mixology Competition

Have you dreamed of jumping behind the bar and showing those foppish bartenders in hats, ties, and suspenders a thing or two about mixology? Do you have killer drink recipies that you have been wanting to try out on professional mixologists? Great news!

Bar Artisanal in Tribeca is sponsoring a “Cocktail Contest” and introducing Cocktail Fever, a summer cocktail special. Amateur mixologists and cheese lovers alike should submit an original cocktail recipe that pairs well with cheese for a chance to have their cocktail featured on the Bar Artisanal cocktail menu and win $200 gift certificates for each of the Artisanal Group restaurants.

The Submission Deadline: 5pm July, 30 2009 via Bar Artisanal’s Facebook page or contest@barartisanal.com, and remember kiddies, you have to be 21 to enter. Or have a great fake ID.
