Rumors: Beatrice Edition

Everybody's been wondering what's going on with the Beatrice Crew since the shuttering a while back and there are a number of rumors on the street.  As we already know, Matt has opened the new sports bar with Sean Avery and they are still consulting for the Chelsea in AC and attracting the likes of Arthur Kade.  Members of the crew are also doing a few nights at Avenue.  Andre has been seen around town.  The following rumors have come from some trusty Little Birdies, but are completely unsubstantiated:

Rumor 1:  The Beatrice will reopen soon.  Real soon.  If you thought it was exclusive before, this shit is about to get real tight and it will be very quiet.

Rumor 2:  The crew will be involved at The Standard.  An intrepid Little Birdy claims to have knowledge of a meeting with Andre, the other Andre and Paul.

What say you dear readers?

I think if it cant open the way it was before it shouldnt reopen in that location. the draw of that place was the dancing and the noise.

Andre is totally tight with the Balzacs, etc.. Not sure it would make sense to turn his cash-chow $20/cocktail penthouse bar into a den for art school students, penniless fashion kids, grungy celebs and other low / non spenders. At least, considering the size of his mortgage.

The new ACES Train has made it easier to get to The Chelsea in AC which has really kicked it into high-gear this summer.
