As we reported last month, the folks at Death & Company are involved in a new speakeasy (shock!) bar in Phiadelphia called the Franklin Mortgage & Investment Company. Well, the wrapping is about to come off of this one, but there is reason to cast some serious doubt about the integrity of this project.

Word comes from the Sixth Borough of the impending opening:

"Here is a hand delivered invitation to an exclusive lounge opening that I received. Smart PR people understand the importance of my brand for marketing and exposure, and my popularity around the world and want me for guest appearances at the hottest places. I love that I get to attend events like this on a regular basis with the best crowds."

Exclusive lounge opening?  Smart PR people?  Wait, I thought this was another speakeasy... shouldn't we have radio silence?  On further inspection, the above invitation is addressed to none other than Arthur Kadyshes aka Arthur Kade.  You can put the nail in this one.
