After seeing our little tidbit on the future of Opus 22, a second Little Birdy follows up with the rest of the details. According to LB, "the old opus is being opened by Evan fFrost, of 3 steps (19th & 2nd) and formerly of the short lived duke & duchess. heard it's going to be called 22s." If 3 Steps is any indication, we may be getting a West side version of an "extraordinary cocktail lounge offers a much-needed reprieve from the ostentatious club scene. It's the cool, hip spot that the typical New Yorker-used to over-crowded nightclubs, pretentious party-goers and velvet-rope madness-has been craving." Sounds positively groovy. We guess. 

UPDATE: A Little Birdy tells a different tale, saying "The new Opus space is NOT going be called '22's - it's going to be called Mr. West.  Indeed, Evan is involved, but it's not his place - he is managing  it.  The space belongs to Danny Divine and DJ Jus-ske." Anyone have the final word?
